The First ‘Knights of Guinevere’ Trailer Invites You to a Creepy Trip

Update: 8/30/2025 @ 5:24 PM ET : And now we have our cast: Eden Riegel (Primos) has the lead role of Gwen, and Michaela Laws (Aphmau) and Zelda Khan Black (Genshin Impact) respectively voice Franki and Andi. Kayleigh McKee (Guilty Gear Strive) voices Sparky, who seems to find the Gwen android, and SungWon Cho (Delicious in Dungeon) plays Orville Park, the park’s central figurehead. Lauren Kong (MapleStory) and Erin Nicole Lundquist (Naraka Bladepoint) voice the respective young and old versions of Olivia Park, the young girl seen with Orville and Gwen in the trailer.

“Only one episode in and I adore this cast so much,” wrote Terrace. “They bring so much amazing flavor to these characters and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them!!”

Original story: Back in January, animation studio Glitch revealed Knights of Guinevereits upcoming web series from Owl House alums Dana Terrace, Zach Marcus, and John Bailey Owen. All we had to go off of back then was the contrast of a lush fairy tale setting with some body horror in the sci-fi vein, and now we know a little more about the show, including when we’ll get to see its first episode.

On Friday, Glitch released Guinevere’s first full trailer, which shows a beautiful fantasy theme park that’s not quite as fantastic as the ads make it look. Park Planet isn’t in complete disarray, but the graffiti and its vibes indicate the place has seen better days. (Can you tell Terrace, Marcus, and Owen worked for Disney?) According to the trailer’s description, two workers named Andi and Frankie find a damaged Princess Android from the park that they think could make them enough money to leave the planet, but that android of theirs might have their own aims.

If the trailer’s anything to go by, Knights of Guinevere may be set in two realities: the real world with Andi and Frankie and the apparent mind of the Android based on the titular princess. In these, she looks to be a slave of a human girl and the park owner when she’s not interacting with the public, who know her through her different outfits. (Like Barbie, Gwen has Mermaid, Ballerina, Racer, and Princess outfits.) As we’re informed, Gwen dreams of escaping the tower she’s locked away in and find her “knights,” which may complicate Andi and Frankie’s plans when she eventually wakes up.

Knights of Guinevere will premiere its pilot on September 19, with new episodes presumably following in the coming months.
