Air fry + steam + lowest price = deliciously healthy food
There aren’t too many air fryers that allow you to cook with steam, but this Philips 5000 Series model does. It’s a rare breed, but having steam means you can not only steam vegies and dumplings in an air fryer (steam in an air fryer sounds like an oxymoron!), but you can combine steaming and air frying too.
You read that right, there’s a dedicated air fry+steam mode on this dual-basket appliance, which makes it great to keep the moisture within tender meat, and yet get crispy skin on chicken and pork belly. The steam option is only for the bigger basket though.
This premium model also has a steam-clean function, but there are caveats that you can find out more about in my in-depth Philips 5000 Series Dual Basket XXL Air Fryer Steam review.
Yup, I tested this myself and I’ve found it very useful to have in the kitchen, despite not having steam in both baskets. Everything it cooks turns out really well – no complaints from me! Although I still haven’t tried baking anything in it… Anyway, if you have the space to store a dual-basket air fryer, this generous 45% discount is well worth considering.

If you want a smaller and cheaper air fryer, take a look at these three Prime Day air fryer deals that cost under AU$100.
Put a (smart) ring on it for a lot less
Smart rings are gaining in popularity fast and while the Samsung Galaxy Ring is down to it’s lowest price, it works best only when paired with a Samsung phone.
There is another choice for everyone else and it’s a lot cheaper than the Samsung alternative – RingConn.
The Gen 2 smart ring does one thing that no other smart ring in Australia does – monitor sleep apnoea. And it’s down to just AU$391.20 for Prime Day.
No matter which smart ring you choose, you will need to get the sizing kit first and then order the correct one for your finger.
RingConn Gen 2: was AU$489, now AU$391.20
If you would prefer the Samsung Galaxy Ring instead, that’s not a bad option either, but it will cost you more, although the black option is cheapest by AU$20 compared to the Silver and Gold. Again, you will need to buy the AU$10 Sizing Kit first – just so you know what size you should buy.
Samsung Galaxy Ring (Silver): was AU$699 now AU$549
Samsung Galaxy Ring (Black): was AU$699 now AU$529
Samsung Galaxy Ring (Gold): was AU$699 now AU$549
Just added: 37% off Bose Ultra Open Earbuds
Considered to be some of the best open-ear buds, the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds are a delight to use. They provide complete openness to your surroundings while still providing rich sound to your ears only.
Comfy to wear all day long, they’re premium in every way, but with a more affordable price tag than usual. They lend themselves equally well to running, walking, or simply relaxing on your daily commute, making this one of the best headphone deals available now.
Our Bose Ultra Open Earbuds review called them “the best-sounding open-ear buds yet” with “immersive audio capabilities” and “very little sound leakage”. They’re “comfortable and easy to wear” with the only real downside being the price tag, which is less of an issue when on sale.
They aren’t listed among the best earbuds or the best wireless earbuds, but consider that more down to the extensive competition than a slight on how well these work.

Swift and silky: hair drying without the high price tag
If you’re looking to upgrade your haircare routine with one of the best hair dryers, then, like most people realistically, you’re going to want the all-singing, all-dancing Dyson Supersonic Nural. But it’s no secret Dyson’s hair drying whizz is far too expensive to justify for many, which is where the Laifen Swift comes in.
We rate the Laifen Swift as being the best Dyson Supersonic alternative, not just because of how it looks and the fact it has magnetic attachments, but because it does a mighty-fine job of drying hair quickly and with excellent results.
You get three temperature and two speed settings, which we found to be more than enough for the average user in our Laifen Swift review. We would’ve liked to have seen a separate cool shot button, but at least you can cycle through the temperature settings to get to cold to lock your style in.
Laifen Swift: was AU$299.99 now AU$194.99
New to Prime Video? Start here
If you’ve recently signed up for Amazon Prime or decide to do so today for the final day of this year’s Prime Day sale , don’t forget that this also gives you access to Amazon Prime Video during your trial period – you can find out more about the perks of being a subscriber in our guide to what is Amazon Prime in Australia.
We’ve put together a list of 7 Prime Video movies and TV shows all with over 90% on Rotten Tomatoes that you should start with if you’ve just gained access to the streamer, just to help you get started with some quality entertainment. Note, however, the standard Prime subscription will have ads during Prime Video streaming, but an additional AU$2.99 a month will remove those.
Bring the Megaboom: lowest-price alert
I’m a sucker for good Bluetooth speaker and the Ultimate Ears range, particularly the Megaboom, has always been among my favourites.
I’ve not seen a discount this low on the Megaboom 4 before – those are usually reserved for smaller, less powerful Boom 4 – so this AU$151.95 saving at Amazon is something to shout about.
For those who want to know more, my colleague (who maintains our best Bluetooth speakers guide) has a more detailed write up on the deal that’s been available since before Prime Day actually started. But now, its AU$30 cheaper!
Now, don’t get confused with you see on Amazon, as the savings are shown as less – Amazon has a penchant for using its previous deal price as its current list price, so trust me when I say this is a bigger discount than the 13% off shown on the product listing page.

Good morning, shoppers! And what a day this is going to be. I promise you a flurry of activity on this page as I’m going to be scrambling to share all the best highlights of Prime Day 2025 – well, the tech (and tech-adjacent) highlights specifically – so you can pocket those last-minute savings.
Over the last six days, we’ve had over 8,000 people tune into our live coverage of Prime Day 2025. Well, I’m not sure ‘tuned in’ is the right phrase here, but my team and I are really grateful to all the readers who joined us through sale so far.
Hopefully our coverage in the past six days has been helpful and you’ve been able to bag a few discounts on items that have been on your shopping list for a while.
If you’re just joining us now, don’t worry, we’re still rolling on with our coverage here at TechRadar and will continue to do so until the very end. Amazon has decided to make Prime Day 2025 a week-long event after all, ending tonight – Monday, July 14 – so we’ve still got some time yet. Thanks, Jeff.
