Trauma Or, Monsters All
According to Variety, director Larry Fessenden has completed filming Trauma Or, Monsters All, a simultaneous sequel to his 1995 vampire movie, Habit, his 2019 Frankenstein movie, Depraved, and his 2023 werewolf movie, Blackout. Said to “place the filmmaker’s beloved trio of ghouls under one roof,” the film stars Laëtitia Hollard, Aitana Doyle, Addison Timlin, James Le Gros, John Speredakos, Cody Kostro, Marc Senter, Rigo Garay, Joseph Castillo-Midyett, Joshua Leonard, and Barbara Crampton, as well as Depraved’s Alex Breaux, Blackout‘s Alex Hurt, and Fessenden himself, reprising his role from Habit.
Marvel
In conversation with THR, Chris Hemsworth stated it was “not the intent” of his recent YouTube video thanking fans for Thor’s popularity in the MCU to be read as a farewell to the character.
(Laughs.) It was certainly not the intent. To be honest, my social media team assembled some footage and were like, “Oh, this could be cool. We’ll put some stuff up and thank the fans.” And I was like, “Yeah, cool. It’s been great.” So we penned it together, and off I went to do something else. But then I had a few people ask me about it, and someone on my team said, “Ugh, we’ve given the wrong impression here.” (Laughs.) We didn’t do any [damage control]; there was no damage control necessary. But a lot was read into a little. I was [already] off starting another chapter of this character, and this journey has been the biggest part of my career. So [the video] was a moment of gratitude, and it wasn’t anything else. But it definitely got misconstrued and perceived in a different way.

Untitled Stranger Things Spinoff
During a recent interview with Variety, Finn Wolfhard suggested a Stranger Things spinoff series is being discussed at Netflix, while offering his own idea for an anthology “like David Lynch’s Twin Peaks.”
Like David Lynch’s Twin Peaks. Sort of an anthology and different tones but similar universe or same universe. I think set in different places and all tied together through this mythology of the Upside Down. Don’t even talk about Hawkins. Don’t have any mention of our characters.
They were toying around with ideas in case Netflix wanted them. I’m sure they do, and I’m sure it will happen, but there’s nothing official. I think the coolest way, the way that I would do it, there has to be labs everywhere. If there was one in Hawkins, there’s one in Russia. Where else could they be?
Peacemaker
During a recent episode of Peacemaker: The Official Podcast (via Comic Book), James Gunn confirmed Matter-Eater Lad and Doll Man are still canon in his DCU.
In the comics, Matter-Eater Lad is a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, which means he’s from the future. He doesn’t exist in present day.
And so somehow he’s either traveled back in time to the present day to hang out with Peacemaker and eat a Wendy’s, or he’s a different character who exists in present time. But I’m willing to say I’ll accept a Matter-Eater Lad. I think we can live with that.
We’ve decided that Doll Man’s canon, we’ve decided that Bat-Mite’s probably not canon, we know the Justice League isn’t canon.
